Every detail from picking us up @ the airport, to tackfully “suggesting” that we go out on that very early first morning – and then to see lion before breakfast – really made the trip!
You helped us see and experience on safari a big part of what your wonderful country has to offer in 3 days – couldn’t have done it without you!

Andrew arranged a 2 night stay for us at Kapama Karula lodge. We had a great time there. The lodge itself is stunning. We stayed in a luxury tent which is small but certainly luxurious. The food came in a never ending flow (about 7 meals a day, varying in size from a snack to a 4 course meal) and the quality of the food overall was good. The game drives with the guide from Kapama were enjoyable. We only saw 4 of the big 5 though!
Andrew’s service was outstanding. We communicated by email and he was attentive and responsive from the word ‘go’. Any questions we had were answered right away, we could not have hoped for better service with the booking process. The trip was part of our honeymoon and he managed to arrange a special private dinner for us at the lodge on one of the nights which made us feel very special and we loved the experience.

I spent 3 days in Pilanesberg National Park in August this year with a group of friends. Andrew organised our whole trip for us, collected us from the airport, cooked for us, guided us around the park, even gave us a quick lesson in astronomy! We had relatively little time in South Africa but Andrew made it unforgettable. We fit so much into such a small space of time and yet never felt rushed.

I was in South Africa for business and only had one day to spare.
Travelling on my own, Andrew made me feel very comfortable and safe. We went to Pilanesberg National Park for a Day Trip and it was amazing the amount that we saw. I was picked up from my hotel in the early morning and within 5 minutes of being in the park we saw a male lion feeding. The wildlife was fantastic and Andrew was able to spot things so quickly and always positioned the vehicle so I had a great view.
The day was very well planned with breaks to look at the wildlife at many of the park’s hides. I was so lucky that we saw elephants, giraffe, hippos, baby crocodile, serval, rhino, antelope, eagles, the list goes on and on.
At the end of the day Andrew dropped me at the airport in plenty of time to catch my flight. A fantastic day!

We had an extra day in South Africa last June on our way to Malawi and arranged a day trip to Pilanesberg National Park with Moya Wa Tenga Safaris. It was a great experience.
Everything about Andrew is top-notch and professional. I found him through a reference on Trip Advisor and sent him an email to inquire about his services. He communicated promptly, arranged a day trip to meet our schedule, sent us the proper paperwork and coordinated all the logistics. It was easy even though we were half way around the globe in Kansas!
We had made our own lodging arrangements with some missionary friends in Pretoria. Andrew agreed to pick us up at our friend’s house at 5:30 am, even though it was at least one hour out of the way. He is all about service and taking care of his client’s needs.
The day at the park was one of the highlights of our trip. We saw plenty of animals in a variety of settings. Andrew’s energy, friendliness and knowledge was fabulous. He even made breakfast for us at one of most beautiful settings in the park. (We are the ruffians in the picture above on the right.)
We hope to lead many groups to Africa in the future as part of our work with The Global Orphan Project. For those trips that take us through South Africa, we will definitely include a day trip to Pilansberg with Andrew!
I would heartily recommend Moya Wa Tenga Safaris to anyone who wants to experience an authentic African safari with a great guide and soon to be friend.

Andrew – you made the trip most memorable for our group in so many ways. The food was beautiful – one most memorable moment at Pilanesberg National Park eating the tasty breakfast overlooking the lake, listening to the calming wildlife sounds. An experience that wont be matched anywhere else in the world.
Your knowledge on the local wildlife, flora and fauna was highly informative and you didn’t despair at our constant badgering of questions! Most of all, the attention to detail was one which makes me recommend your tours highly! The finer touches of comfort and manners towards us made my safari tour in Africa unforgettable.

What a fantastic trip!
Andrew made the entire visit effortless, whilst his infectious enthusiasm for the area and for the glittering nature on offer made the entire experience truly unforgettable. From the first pickup at the airport, the easy conversation en route and the busy (yet never hectic) schedule at the reserve our trip was exceptional from start to finish. By the end of our second day we already felt like firm friends.
Better still, the photographs Andrew took captured every moment perfectly and the professional DVD provided an brilliant record of our stay. We cannot recommend Andrew and Moya Wa Tenga safaris highly enough!

My coworker and I took a day trip to Pilanesberg with Andrew – the most amazing ending to our week in Joburg! We chose Moya Wa Tenga because they were by far the most responsive when we were researching our trip online before hand…and we were not disappointed! Quite the contrary, we were blown away by Andrew’s professionalism and expertise- every detail was handled perfectly and the trip far exceeded our expectations.
We expected Andrew to get us to and from our destination safely, but were not prepared for his level of knowledge about everything we saw during our spectacular day at Pilansberg. His level of education and expertise really brought the experience to a whole new level for us. Remarkably, he even made arrangements for us to get up close and personal with a huge rhino during a “rhino notching” that took place the morning we were there. (Still not sure if that wasn’t a dream?!?!)

We came to Pilanesberg in the pouring rain. Andrew went out of his way to ensure that we could still get excellent shots in these conditions, with technical assistance as well as a knowledge of animal/bird behaviour that made the need to move around if the wind (and thus the rain) turned. Even with the rain the meals and drinks were excellent and never was a shot missed because we had to pay attention to them. Invaluable tips at a professional photographer’s level was given, even though this modest and friendly photographer / ex-ranger never regards himself as one.
Our friends and collegues are amazed at the standard of photographs which we could obtain in this downpour of rain. Few guides can give one such splendid opportunities. I have already recommended Moya Wa Tenga to collegues and friends.

Moya Wa Tenga asked me what type of trip I wanted and my budget within the hour they had the a quote at a 5 star lodge exactly where we wanted to go and within budget.
Mkuze Falls Reserve was awesome getting up close and personal with the big 5 was an experience never to be forgotten, without the knowledge and services of Andrew we wouldn’t have had the experience of a lifetime that we did.
The professional service and attention to detail was superb and I have recommended them to family and friends and will defiantly use them again.

Thank you so much for organizing an unforgettable Safari. We very much enjoyed the personalized service, the many small details, like picking us up at the airport and providing a snack with some drinks for our journey to Madikwe – that was very thoughtful and most appreciated.
Shortly after our arrival at the Impodimo Game Lodge we already saw a group of elephants coming to the water hole at the lodge – it was just unbelievable to stay at an open lodge with wild animals coming so close. The staff at Impodimo was very professional – great cuisine, very friendly and accommodating. The lodges were luxurious yet nicely integrated into nature.
Thanks to our ranger Patrick and tracker Holiday we were able to see all “Big Five” during our 3-day stay at Madikwe – and, to have a sundowner in the open field was just overwhelming.
We enjoyed every second of our Safari – it was the highlight of our 3 weeks journey through South Africa. It was a stunning experience thanks to the whole package provided by you and the staff at Impodimo – thank you so much.
