Hi Bernadette

It really is a contentious issue, and one that many of the Interested and Affected Parties are not going to accept lightly. I will endeavour to keep track of the story and update you all with any future developments.

On a positive note, I have just posted a media release discussing the celebration of biodiversity in 2010. It is a really informative and positive review of what biodiversity is, why it matters, its current status in South Africa and much much more. You can view the post by clicking here: or by going to http://www.moyawatenga.co.za/celebrating-biodiversity-in-2010-media-release-from-the-ewt/

I think this is just pathetic on our country's side. If you wanna create work, create it in the tourims industry so more people wanna come visit and see our country. How many will want to come here if all the beautifull spots are ruined by mines?? I wouldn't and I live in the country! We have to MAKE the government see that we will not end up like Zim and will fight to make our country the gorgeous place it is and can be!
